2018 Picnic

On 21 September 2018, the committee held our traditional annual picnic. 350 people, including children and adults from all over France, came together in good spirits to share a meal in beautiful sunny weather. It was another great opportunity for adopting families to meet those who had already adopted a child.

Our representative from North Vietnam came especially from Hanoi and was very pleased to meet our adopting families and to see the families she had already taken to Vietnam.

Some of the highlights of the afternoon were music from a Brazilian singer-songwriter and musician from the Charente region and homemade ice cream from a local vendor.

The day also offered the opportunity to introduce our families to ELISA, our sister association, which had organised a sale of handiwork from Brazil and Vietnam and presented its actions in Brazil, Haiti, and Vietnam.
